i went to the gym yesterday after work. everyone is older there, like 40 or so. I was changing out of my monkey suit and in to my cut off red t-shirt and exercise pants. no one was around, but changing in the locker room is still one of those frightening experiences. like middle school.

just then i heard a woman gasp.

She was about 38, with a very long brown pony tail and glasses. i turned around, covering my chest with my shirt, wondering what was wrong.

"that's a...that's a pretty impressive....uh....masterpiece you have on your back." she raised her highbrows high and sighed auidibly. it made a "whoosh" nose as it left her pinched up lips.

i giggled akwardly. i guess i won't be making any friends with the women at the gym.

There was a black man with tattoos next to me on the elliptical machine yesterday. I was listening to hip hop so loudly that i think he could hear it. he nodded at me and i sort of smiled akwardly. the good thing is that when you are exercising you don't actually have to talk to anyone. I found out a few things about music and exercise.
Happy Valentine's Day on the love below is awesome to work out too. The best.
so are jaime's mixed cds. "summer jams 2003" was awesome! I got to that missy song Work it just as i was hitting the hardest part. I probably look funny dancing on an eleptical machine.

yesterday there was this heavy set woman running on the treadmillin front of me. She wasn't the most agile woman in the world, but when i saw her drop her gold earing, i saw her jump off the machine, turn and pick it up and jump back on the machine ...and it was all in one fluid movement, like she had practiced a dance routine. it ruled.

tonight i think i'm going to the drive-in's.
are you interested internet??
