Last night was really fun. It was great to see jen again. she is going to hang out this weekend, so it will be hannah, sarah, jen and I, all back together again.
it was kind of cool to go to goucher. i hung out on the quad with the dudes and went to dinner at stimpson. (there are pictures of Goucher on the side bar, or if your screen is small at the very bottom of the page.) every one was getting ready for battle of the bands last night.
the reading was really fantastic. this woman is hilarious! when she was reading she made some dick joke in the text, and then stopped and looked at her husband and said "i wasn't sure how that would go over." she was petite and very pretty and spoke with a fast rhythm, it was so engaging.
when i got there sandy and all the administrators hugged me. hahaha and i loved it. does that make me a dork?. i made lots of jokes about them giving me a job. Madison and Beth and jen and I all talked afterwards, it was really relaxed and we laughed a lot. I told Beth about how i spent some time with her book after graduation and really enjoyed it. i think it meant a lot to her.
jen and i went to katherines room to hang out with russell and chris (who was visiting) and various others, and before we knew it it was time for LOST IT to play for battle of the bands, so i stayed later and went. before they played THE SEXIES played...it's adam rothstein's band with marlowe, a pixies cover band. Adam was wearing a full piece lycra outfit, silver, not unlike mine, except long sleeved and it had more of pants...(for bike riding, it looked like) and he also wore a huge russian furry hat with ear flaps. LOST IT was really good. Mike Romano, Dan Owen, Rufus and two other dudes. Dan and Mike took off their shirts to play. Mike had a hot-pink guitar. Mickey > and Dan and Bob all came out to the show and Corey was there too.
