I made a new friend last night. But we decided that we were already old friends, just ones who didn't really ever speak or make eye contact with each other. we gave each other a nod before i left, but it was the sort of nod that felt a little like a hug if that makes any sense.

i didn't watch winged migration last night. no, no, it's okay. i was sleepy, anyway. I saw it before. Last August I was in Maine with Jeanne's family, and we went into Darmiscotta. There is a movie theater there. It has steep wooden steps painted blue. All of jeanne's family went and we took up an entire row across the theater. the children were good as they watched the cranes swoop and the geese glide. Jeanne's grandfather was the only one who refused to go, because he knew that he would love it.

Jaime's birthday seemed just perfect. I'm sure as the night went on, and they got more beer, it became even more perfect. i got her a pair of feet tied together with a ribbon in a pink bag with kitties on it. it was conceptual. i was sleepy before i left, and giggled like i had too much wine.

today, i washed my hair under the faucet in the tub with a bar of soap. it's almost dry now.

Jeanne made a list of interesting facts about herself the other day. see, a lot of times she will ask you ( if you are a stranger) "what the fuck do you do?" and she's kind of looking for someone to say: i get lost a lot when i'm driving, i once ate some peanut butter that had ants in it by mistake, i wake up in the middle of the night to pee and drink a glass of milk and go back to bed etc. etc.

I realized that the internet might very well like to know a list of strange things about me:

1.david letterman was my first crush. i bought 100 pre-stamped post cards to send him.
2.there was a time where i wore a tye dyed mickey mouse shirt..and often.
3.i have a secret tattoo inside my lip
4.i once hit a man with my car and drove away
5.i secretly would like to spill something on your new carpet to see your reaction
6.i have my entire back tattooed
7.i have freckles on my eyelids
8.i don't listen to music without prompting by others
9.i can't think of one food that i don't like enough to eat a little of.
10.i started a walk-a-thon in 4th grade for troops families of Desert Storm.
11.i graduated from highschool based on several lies supported by faculty
12.my senior prom was on my 18th birthday
13.i once waxed my pubic hair in the shape of a mustache
14.i sucked my thumb until the fourth grade
15.i hate when toll booth operators don't look you in the eye
16.I once had a malignant tumor the size of a large grapefruit
17.theatrical experience includes various performances of drunk elderly and goats.
