everyone is nervous/excited

today is the annual board of directors meeting. It's raining, today. I dropped my suit coat on my driveway getting into my car. I had to leave my house half an hour early. I think I'm sweating. My name tag is peeling off by itself.

yesterday I came home to a sparkling apartment. Everything was clean and put away. The floors....The floors were beautiful. Someone with the best blog in Baltimore thought it was a good idea to take the day off from stardom and make himself useful. What a guy.

at virginia's birthday dinner, we all wore little birthday hats and drank beer in pitchers that read "MIST," "DIET," "LEMONADE." I wish her birthday was on a Saturday so we could have gone bowling. Virginia, next year have your birthday on a Saturday.
I also wished that I didn't have to get up for work the next day. It's a pity when one of your best friends in the whole world has a party and you can't stay for all the festivities. Sigh.

I was half asleep when I was getting dressed. I forgot to change my underwear. Should I tell you things like this?

today I treated myself to coffee and cake because I had to get here so early.

this weekend I'm going camping and going to a poetry convention ACK! that sounds worse than a sci fi convention. But me and some of the goucher ladies are getting together. I've decided this morning that it is inconvenient to bring beer to sit around the fire with, so I decided that I will bring Jack Daniels. Will it be cold this weekend?
Do you have a bed roll I can borrow? This is going to be the best.
