the hum of the heater and the photocopy machine

Last night as it was nearing 9pm, I was one of the only people left in the building. It was a little creepy to say the least, but everything, or almost everything got accomplished for today's meeting which was terrific.

I'm on a very short break right now, waiting to for the catering service to arrive, and also waiting to steal a mini-sandwich or two.

Last night when I got home I started a new book Timbuktu by one of my all-time favorites Paul Auster. It starts off in the perspective of Mr. Bones, the K-9 companion of Willy Christmas, who adopted the surname after an hallucination of Santa. But with Auster, we'll never know where it's going to go.

Will I see you tonight at lu lu's?
