odd and happy holiday

My future sister-in-law didn't show up for Christmas. It was odd, my brother came all by himself, his wife stayed at home. Wouldn't this be an indicator to you, that she might not work out too well as a wife?

I ate ham and plenty of macaroons and on Christmas morning I got grown up things like plates and pot-holders and an electric toothbrush. My father picked out nice things for me this year, with effort and love. My brothers and the ladies seemed to like their gifts. Jeanne gave me pretty presents in a mason jar instead of a box.

I slept on one of those blow up beds that wobbles when you turn like you're on a water balloon covered in sheets and when I left this morning the roads were covered with snow.

And that's all, really.

Oh, something is still wrong with my sidebar. I thought Santa would fix it for me for Christmas, but alas.
