No banks in Kabul

My boss called and she needed someone to fly to Kabul and bring money to her. There are no banks, no traveler's checks, no credit cards, just cash. Someone was already flying out on Monday, but there was still a lot of chaos here. Chaos and adventure. Did you call Afghanistan by 10am? Eh. My job seems so much more exciting than it actually is.

Oh and it would please you to know that my aunt called home yesterday. She understood the weather was bad outside and said "don't worry about me, I'll be home in four or five weeks." This is extrodoniary. Amazing. So much has changed in the past two weeks with her. Thank you for all of your kind wishes.

Jason's leaving town today and driving to Savannah, GA without me. It's okay though. Booyah to him: My self-made rocky marathon sleepover is this weekend. So guess who is missing out on who! Rocky. I'm pretty stoked about that. (The big guy and I have been watching a lot of skate documentaries, so I guess I just picked up the word "stoked", It's odd...I didn't realize that I had until just now.)

Today I'm dressed like a lumberjack.
