Mystery Solved

If you know me, you know that I don't know very much about music. You love this about me. Included in the recent CDs that were stolen when my car was stolen there was this copy of The Exploding Hearts "Guitar Romantic" Album. I listened to this one song called "I'm a Pretender" about a million times understanding fully that there was no way that they were singing:
i'm a pretender at the game of love
pizza party help me shatter my foolish heart

Yet, when I sang along these were the lyrics that I sang. I liked that a Pizza Party helped him in some way or another.

On a surprisingly related note, last night was a pizza party for my friend Adam who is moving to Mexico. So long Adam. Please write me letters and let me come visit. I'll bring you a hammock.

Anyway, I figured out, as you music-listening gurus probably already knew, that it's really simple to look up song lyrics. And instead of "Pizza Party" he's saying "Need Somebody" which clearly makes much more sense.
