I'm leeeeavin' on a jet plane

Russell and I are flying out to Chicago tonight. We won't be sitting next to each other on the plane, so we'll be chatting through the cracks in the seats. This, we suspect, will annoy everyone.

When we arrive, Virginia will take us back to Joliet IL for the night, where we will talk with her mom in the kitchen while children climb all over us.

The next day we'll go down town proper, take in the sights, eat a hot dog, talk to strangers and stay at the hostel we just booked. We already know that the lady at the front desk is weird and delightful. These are things we look for in hostels.

Saturday is Evan and Jean's Wedding Party - Which is going to be amazing - when Virginia and I met his friends the last time we were in Chicago, everyone was so nice and happy - just imagine how they'll be celebrating a marriage.

Sunday evening I return home sleepy and pleased with my trip.

Oh and
Last night, after tutoring, I had Thai food, sorbetto (which is, apparently, the same thing as sorbet) and a nice long walk.

At tutoring 'Wendy' made me this awesome drawing of me. I can't wait to scan it to show you, because the best part was that she erased the mouth and re-drew it a little lower and much bigger than it was previously.

Have fun in the Windy City, and make sure to eat some Chicago-style pizza. That stuff is so bad for you, yet so friggin' good.
