Missed Connections

So, I replied to a missed connections personal ad, because I was SURE that it could be me that the person was looking for. Halfway through my email I pretty much figured out that not only wasn't the ad written to describe me, but that it was most likely written by someone I knew.

I continued nevertheless.

My suspicions were accurate. The post was written by my buddy - who shall remain nameless - who was looking for a cute/witty lady he saw with brown hair and SOMEHOW she wasn't me. Now, that he's read my swift reply (upon the assumption that it couldn't be anyone BUT me) he has the ammunition to tease me for weeks and weeks. Brilliant.

Wouldn't it have been funny though, if he had agreed to meet me for a date? He really should have drawn this out for hilarity sake.

In other news, the ADT people came to my house today to fix my alarm system. Helena, remember last summer when you broke into my house to practice viola? Now the alarm would go off! So, anyone interested in practicing musical instruments in my living room please contact me for the passcode.

okay, I know you're too young for this, but..
"if you like pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain..."
(and that thing about your alarm system and the musical instrument practice made me tinkle a little in my pants. Just a tiny bit.)
