itty bitties

Tomorrow is my sister-in-law's baby shower. She's having twin boys. Not identical, but no doubt adorable! She and my brother Dan decided on the names: Wyatt and Gabriel (Gabe). What cute little cowboy names my nephews will have, my Goodness!

I know I haven't updated the internet in a while...You're probably wondering how I've been doing...And actually, I've kind of been in a funk. NYC is beautiful and bewildering, just like we suspected. Sometimes more beautiful than bewildering, but, most often, recently, it's been leaning the other way.

It's such a big pond for such a itty bitty fish.

My semester is almost over, and as I've always felt at the end of the semester, I don't have quite enough time to catch up and make good in all my classes. I suppose I'll do fine, in the end. But, I started off so eager to do perfectly it will be awfully difficult not to do the best, ever....You think I might put too much pressure on myself? nahh.

My apartment is drafty, but nice and certainly warming up. My roommate is fantastic and funny and we are constantly watching buffy the vampire slayer and putting together ikea furniture. It's unending. Some might say that this is hell, but they haven't ever looked toward Buffy the vampire Slayer or wordless instructions with wooden dowels and allen wrenches as therapeutic, and I certainly do. Its nice to have such a good buddy around all the time.

I finally found my camera battery charger. That should prove useful when blogging, don't you think? Maybe I'll keep this thing up after all. Would you like that?

Well, speaking for me, yes. And I also find Ikea therapeutic -- if frustrating.

Ikea furniture makes me feel extremely accomplished when I finally put it together. It usually only takes about 4 times longer than the average person...

I hope the baby shower was fun, although you did miss a good party.

Oh and you have my blog address wrong on the link-- it's http://coronamadonna.livejournal.com

Yeah, even if updates are infrequent, inquiring minds want to know. Besides, how else do you want us to know you assembled your fine Swedish furniture incorrectly? ;-)

Enjoy your growing stature as an aunt!
